On February 18-23, 2007, I hiked the Foothills Trail in South Carolina. The FT Goes between Tablerock SP and Oconee SP or Caesar's Head SP. The trail is 76 miles long with spur trail options to make it longer. It travels along the NC and SC state line, then drops south near the GA Line.
